Senior Pastor

David Gilbert has served as Senior Pastor of Truth Church of Denison since 1979. He is married to Kay Emberlin Gilbert and, together, they have two adult children, Karisha and Darren. David and Kay met while at Texas Bible College in Houston, Texas. They spent the early years of their ministry evangelizing throughout the United States experiencing dynamic revivals, healings, signs, and wonders. The Gilberts assumed pastorate of Truth Church on February 18, 1979 from Kay’s father, Warren Emberlin, who founded the church and pastored it for 28 years.

Assistant Pastor

Darren, with his wife Ginger, has served Truth Church for over a decade, beginning as youth pastor and now as Assistant Pastor.

Darren and Ginger have four mostly wonderful children together: Amaris, Tayte, Kreed, and Quynne. They share a love for youth and have been involved in youth ministry for over 15 years. Currently, they serve the North Texas District UPCI as the District Youth President.

Youth Pastor

Jonathan and his wife, Mia, have served in youth ministry in some capacity for many years. They have a passion for young people and a burden to see them live their lives wholeheartedly for Jesus Christ! They are blessed with the joy of raising two daughters, Genevieve and Emilia.
