Lead Pastor

Darren, with his wife Ginger, has served Truth Church for over a decade, beginning as youth pastor then assistant pastor and in March of 2018 they were elected at the Lead Pastor of Truth Church of Denison.

Darren and Ginger have four mostly wonderful children together: Amaris, Tayte, Kreed, and Quynne.

Bishop

David Gilbert served as Lead Pastor of Truth Church of Denison for 40 years. In March of 2018 David and his wife Kay retired as Lead Pastor of Truth Church of Denison and they moved into the role of Bishop. The Gilberts assumed pastorate of Truth Church of Denison from Kay’s father, Warren Emberlin, on February 18, 1979. This was after many years of evangelizing across the United States. Warren Emberlin founded Truth Church of Denison and pastored it for 28 years.
